A Yorkshire Institution
The Fleece is Wharfe Bank Brewery's flagship pub, situated in the Wharfedale market town of Otley, just a short walk from the Market Place. Following an extensive refurbishment, The Fleece has been transformed into one of the region's landmark pubs.
We are dedicated to providing great food and a fantastic riverside beer garden, driven by a deep respect for quality and a genuine desire to exceed expectations. Our amazing fire, which is lit in the colder months, creates a truly cosy atmosphere, while our huge beer garden offers plenty of seating for all.
The Fleece showcases Wharfe Bank's range of craft-brewed real ales along with carefully selected guest ales from across the UK, complemented by a fine selection of continental beers, lagers, premium wines and spirits.

We're passionate about what we do, and we're excited to share our story with you. We are a family of four with two children, so we aim to be both family friendly and dog friendly — with garden games, bar games, colouring sheets and stickers for the little ones.
Our little lambs are important to us. We are a small, dedicated team that strives to offer you our very best every single visit.

We advise booking for our Sunday lunches as it is our busiest and most popular day — but every day at The Fleece is a good day!

An extensive renovation transformed The Fleece into one of the region's landmark pubs — creating the beautiful riverside spaces, the welcoming snug bar, and the iconic beer garden that guests love today.
